"Generation and Characterization of Strong THz Field from Two-Color Laser Filamentation"

The main topic of this talk is about generation of intense terahertz (THz) field up to level of tens of MV/cm and beam characterization (measuring pulse duration, spot size, and spectral response) to calculate THz field strength. As a THz source, we used two-color laser mixing in air since it can provide high energy (>2.8 μJ), high average power (>2.6 mW), high conversion efficiency (~104), and broadband (0.01 ~ 100 THz) THz radiation.
