Under the supervision of Prof. Yanne K. Chembo, Director of IREAP, students from Charles Herbert Flowers High School in Prince George's County were invited to spend two weeks during the summer of 2024 at the Institute for Research in Electronics and Applied Physics. The summer camp focused on College preparedness in Mathematics, Physics and Engineering. It was held from June 17 to June 28 at the campus of the University of Maryland College Park.

 

  • Applicants should be rising Juniors or Seniors
  • A minimum 3.0 GPA is required to apply
  • Typical activities include mathematics, physics, engineering, and coding
  • Students who have already participated in the program are ineligible to apply
  • Information for IREAP High School STEM Summer Camp 2025 will be forthcoming
