This program allows UMD undergraduate students to immerse themselves in a research environment during the Spring or Fall semester in an IREAP laboratory. Typical activities include initiation to theoretical or experimental research for up to 4 hours/week. The program prioritizes the interaction between undergraduate and graduate students, and includes moderate interaction with faculty. The students are paid an hourly stipend. No UMD academic credit can be earned for participating in this program.
Students with a minimum GPA of 3.0 are invited to apply via the link below throughout the month of September.
