Huba, Lyon, and Hassam Reply

The Comment by Lehnert and Scheffel questions the validity of the modified MHD equations used by Hassam and Huba ' and Huba, Lyon, and Hassam in their study of the Rayleigh-Taylor instability in the limit of large Larmor radius (LLR). The concerns raised in the Comment have been addressed in a recent article (Ref. 17 of our original Letter). We made Lehnert and Scheffel aware of this work and it is unfortunate that they did not address it in their Comment. Their concerns were explicitly discussed in this article, i.e., we describe in detail the validity and applicability of the modified MHD equations. Although the issues raised in the Comment are pertinent, their conclusion that these equations are "inconsistent" is not correct
