Fully relativistic calculations are presented of the emission and absorption coefficients for synchrotron radiation propagating parallel to the magnetic field for loss-cone momentum distributions typical of magnetic-mirror-trapped electrons. Analytic results are obtained for step-function loss-cone distributions, while numerical results are provided for distributions with a smoother transition at the loss-cone boundary.
