Experimental Observation of Crisis-Induced Intermittency and Its Critical Exponent

Critical behavior associated with intermittent temporal bursting accompanying the sudden widening of a chaotic attractor was observed and investigated experimentally in a gravitationally buckled, parametrically driven, magnetoelastic ribbon.
