Edo Waks and Mohammad Hafezi each receive FY2021 DURIP Awards

news story image

The Department of Defense recently announced the winners of this year's upcoming DURIP program, and I'm pleased to report that IREAP once again was strongly represented, both on our campus, and overall, among the winning proposals.

This year, UMD had five winning proposals, and two of them were submitted by IREAP faculty.

Congratulations to Prof Edo Waks and Prof Mohammad Hafezi for their successful proposals.
