Congratulations to IREAP Student Patrick Kim!

Patrick Kim, who is conducting research on fusion in IREAP, is one of three students from the University of Maryland to be awarded the 2022 Goldwater Scholarship. Kim is workinging towards a double-degree in physics and electrical engineering.

Kim has been conducting research with Professor Bll Dorland since before he was accepted to the University of Maryland. Additionally, his work has been presented at the APS meetings, and also appeared last year in the Journal of Plasma Physics.
